CAN-LIN Converter is composed of dual CAN and single LIN communication buses. It can be programmed via its GUI application and can be used as a gateway between the CAN buses. While operating as a gateway, the GUI application can be configured to send the rules, messages and their periods and manage the LIN network through the LIN communication bus. The management settings of the LIN communication bus can be configured using the GUI application. The protocol’s standard file that contains settings and rules for the LIN bus, called LDF (LIN Description File), can be read, and the relevant rules defined in the LDF can be conveniently configured and saved to the flash memory.
