Human Resources Policy

Selection and Placement

The main principle in the selection and placement process is to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to people, without any discrimination or special privileges,  who have the competencies (knowledge, skills, attitude) required by the job and those willing to adopt corporate values.

During the recruitment process, applications that are from career portals, individual applications, and in-house candidate applications are reviewed by us. Candidates that were selected are invited to a preliminary interview afterward.

Candidates evaluated positively after the preliminary interview can be asked to participate in applications such as English language proficiency tests, personality inventory tests, and assessment center applications, taking into account the need, level, and impact of the position. It is essential to give feedback to the participants who participated in the evaluation center applications and who were recruited.

Candidates who complete the aforementioned steps are invited for a final interview with the Human Resources Department together with the Manager and/or Director, who are at the top of the candidate’s potential position. A summary of the previous evaluations and the results of the evaluation practices used, if any, are shared by Human Resources with the managers who will evaluate this interview.

Reference checks are made for candidates whose Senior Management interviews are evaluated as positive. Employees who have recently started to work are included in the orientation training exercises and their adaptation to the task is ensured.

Training and Development System

At ORTEM ELECTRONICS, we believe that development and learning are continuous and it is our aim to create an environment where employees can experience this firsthand.

Training plans are prepared taking into account the demands of the employees, the competencies required by the position, the realization of annual targets and personal/professional development needs.

Training needs analyses are made according to the compulsory, technical, and vocational training of hourly wage workers and the standards of working in heavy and dangerous jobs. These pieces of training are regulated and organized through accredited institutions.

At the end of the training, the feedback and evaluations of participants are taken into account with the aim and intent of continuous improvement of the training organizations.
